I do not have any experience in winter sports – can I still go?

Of course you can! Novices or fans that do not care for wintersports will enjoy this trip nonetheless. The Nassfeld offers a variety of ski schools and slopes at many levels of diffuculty. In addition you may want to try the fantastic coasting slides, the winter hiking trails or other alternatives to skiing or snowboarding such as the trendy funsports at the Smart Terrain next tot he mountain stage! Well in any case you can get to the concert location without ski or board using the FFM shuttle or the mountain train (Millennium-Express ticket comes with your concert ticket).

Do I need my own wintersport gear?

You may rent (with costs) or buy your entire equipment on site – this means „no you do not need your own winter sport gear“. Joining the Full Metal Mountain experience means however that you will be spending quality time in an alpine area where low temeratures are very likely. Therefore we recommend hibernal clothing and warm shoes!

I have rented an appartment – how can I get feed?

When you don't find accommodation in one of our hotels, you may need to buy and cook your own food and drinks. Besides the many restaurants and bars you will find supermarkets and small shops for your daily shopping in the close vicinity of the appartments.

How do I get from A to B?

The free of charge usage oft he lifts and the FMM shuttles comes with your all-inclusive package. The FFM shuttle is also your drop-in-center to get to your destiny and if need be from concert to concert at night – at the end of a ragging metal party the shuttle will get you home safely!

When will we get the travel documents?

You will get the travel documents earliest 20 days and by no later than 7 days before the event starts via e-Mail. Please print them out and bring them with you to the FMM Visitor Center in Tröpolach!

Will there be snow in April?

The Nassfeld has a unique topografic location with it´s own micro climate granting you the highest probability for snow. In addition the 110 km of slopes are fully equiped with snow machines. A continuous snow layer can not be guaranteed in the valley however.

Is the journey suited for families?

Absolutely! The vast selection of accommodation and activities of the Full Metal Mountain experience is THE opportunity to spend quality time with your family. Here we want to especially draw your attention to our family hotels and appartments!

I can not decide where I want to book.

Truely a tough decision! Each of the three locations offers supreme metal- and winterfun. The differnces are:

- we recommend the housing in the valley to party fiends and concert visitors with little wintersport ambition. This is where the party is happening.

- theAt the mountain - Sonnleiten – is a true piece of jewelry, caters to families or people travelling in small groups. If you want winter sport action this ist he place to be!

- the At the mountain - Sonnenalpe is also situated next to the ski slopes but with a clear focus on wellness and spa. Get some rest after the night out!
