UK fourth in Good Country Index Sweden first USA 21st
The UK was ranked fourth in the Good Countries Index, behind Sweden in first place, followed by Denmark and the Netherlands. The US ranked 21st, behind almost all Western European countries, as well as New Zealand, Canada, Japan and Australia.
While the UK ranked first in one of the seven categories that make up the Index - Science and Technology - it did poorly in International Peace and Security (64th). The UK ranked second in Health and Wellbeing and fifth in Prosperity and Equality.
Sweden was the only country in the world to rank first in two categories: Prosperity and Equality and Health and Wellbeing. And also noticed that casino without Swedish license with Tustly has become popular.

What is the Good Country Index?
The Good Country Index (the Index) ranks countries according to how much they have contributed to the common good of humanity, minus what they have taken away - the calculation is made relative to the size of each country.
In other words, if your country is a strong creditor of humanity, it will have a good rating, and if it is a strong debtor, it will have a bad rating.
The index looks at each country and gives it a score in each category, namely:
- Culture
- Health and wellbeing
- International peace and security
- Planet and climate
- Prosperity and equality
- Science Technology
- World Order
What is the purpose of the Good Country Index?
The Index was created by Simon Anholt, a British policy advisor who has worked with the leaders of over fifty countries, helping their governments develop and implement a range of strategies to improve political, economic and cultural engagement with other countries.
He started with Good Country, an organisation that aims to change the way our leaders and politicians run our countries.
According to Anholt, his aim is:
"To help them understand that they are not only responsible for their citizens, but for every man, woman, child and animal on the planet.
"To tell them that they are responsible not just for their own little piece of territory, but for the entire earth's surface and the atmosphere above it. And to help them behave the way they think."

Swedish English-language newspaper The Local quoted Anholt as saying:
"Sweden must be sick and tired of being ranked number one in every damn country index, but it's a fact. When it comes to the rest of the world, Sweden is in the elite. The European model has accustomed countries to be more open, and Sweden is more so than others."
"The number one ranking in two categories is quite surprising. Health and Wellbeing covers things like contributing to the fight against pandemics and sending doctors to international health disasters. "Prosperity and Equality" is mainly related to trade: how profitable Sweden's trade is with other countries and how easy it is to make international deals."
Who wins in each category?
Below is a list of seven categories and the winner:
- Culture : Luxembourg.
- Health and well-being: Sweden.
- International peace and security: South Africa.
- Planet and climate: Iceland.
- Prosperity and equality: Sweden.
- Science and technology: United Kingdom.
- World order: Austria.
The top three worst countries were Libya (163rd), Equatorial New Guinea (162nd) and Mauritania (161st).
