Alkbottle

Formed in 1990, the Vienna based Band raised their fanbase within 3 years all over Austria with their debut Album „No sleep till Meidling“. Nowadays, Alkbottle is one of the most famous Rockbands in Austria.
Their record of 1994 „Blader, Fetter, Lauter & a bissl mehr“ got gold status for 25.000 sold units. Meanwhile Alkbottle sold over 160.000 records, received the most recognized Austrian Music Award Amadeus and shared the stages with acts like Bon Jovi, Kiss, Deep Purple, ZZ Top, Guns n Roses und Ozzy Osbourne.

2013 when mighty „Motörhead“ had to cancel their appearance at one of the biggest Rock Festivals in Austria, Alkbottle was the first choice of the promoter for replacement. To get it straight - Alkbottle means: Beer instead of Wine; Guitars instead of Violins, Motor Bikes instead of Lipizzaner and instead of Sisi – most likely - Ozzy.
